CSFI congratulates ASFPM and flood professionals on a successful 2025 ASFPM Conference in New Orleans, which attracted over 1,500 in-person attendees and commemorated lessons learned in the 20 years since Hurricane Katrina.  CSFI presented at the “Stronger Together: The Power of Partnerships” plenary session alongside two peer coalitions, the American Flood Coalition (AFC) and BuildStrong America.  Our slide deck, providing an overview of CSFI’s past and present collaborations, is linked above.

A recap of ASFPM’s conference is available online, including video highlights of a second line.  The 2026 ASFPM Conference, celebrating ASFPM’s 50-year anniversary, will be held in Milwaukee from May 31-June 4.

CSFI also congratulates the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL), The Water Institute, and the Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority (CPRA) on a record-breaking 2025 State of the Coast Conference, drawing 1,300 attendees.  CSFI presented alongside Renee Collini and Allison DeJong of The Water Institute on “Addressing Insurance Affordability and Availability.”  The presentation featured the Water Insitute’s Dauphine Island pilot project, an effort to integrate a newly-restored marsh into the NFIP rating methodology.  State of the Coast plenaries can also be viewed online.
