NFIP has been reauthorized until December 11, 2026 through Sec. 139 of the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027 (H.R.6500).

After passing the Senate in August, this continuing resolution (CR) was passed by the House on Tuesday and signed by the President on Wednesday.

This becomes the 36^th short-term reauthorization of NFIP since 2017.
