About The Coalition

The Coalition for Sustainable Flood Insurance (CSFI) works to ensure that flood insurance offered through the National Flood Insurance Program is both affordable and sustainable. We advocate for reforms that will enhance mitigation, improve how we assess and communicate risk, preserve affordability, and increase participation.

Affordability

98.5% of NFIP policies are in counties with a median household income below $100,000
